The Foundation of the Sunshine Home Safeguard League

It was an interesting coincidence that on Mother's Day, the Sunshine Home Safeguard League was officially founded and its first meeting a great success.

Since April 14th, our school has invited parents to join this league in order to find ways to safeguard our children. This initiative received positive responses from more than 30 parents.

After having face-to-face conversations with each of these warm-hearted parents, 13 parents were selected as the first Sunshine Home Safeguard League members.

These members will work with Sunshine Home to positively improve home-school communication, activities and resource connections. Everything that we do is for our children.

Meeting Review

Part 1

The meeting was a great success. It included food, self-introductions, and a letter to parents from Jeanny, one of our school’s founders.

The content of the meeting included:

An independent course from our academic coordinators covering the improvements and efforts from all staff members during the COVID-19 outbreak;

League members each voting for an English name for their respective teams;

The way in which we could hold an unexpected graduation ceremony from our senior students;

Considering gifts that we could give to our children for Children’s Day.

Just wait and see more good news…

Yesterday, we were strangers; but today we came together and worked to attain a common goal.

We believe that, under the guidance of our safeguard league, children will grow up in a heathier and more pleasant environment. They will be safeguarded just like they are in the arms of their mothers.
