This Friday, Lakeside Sunshine Home held its annual autumn field trip.

Early in the morning, our parents and children arrived at the Butterfly Conservation Base by Dongping Mountain.

This is a magical kingdom full of wild insects and animals. While in the butterfly greenhouse, we learned a lot about butterflies and the children made friends with them.

As we walked down the path, butterflies danced around the mountain and we could see a forest full of flowers.

The children saw all sorts of interesting insects, lizards and frogs hiding in the small rainforest. Today, nature was our teacher and the students gained ecological knowledge about butterflies and were able to experience the wonders of life.

Sunshine Home would like to express a special thanks to Tutor Zhou Yun and Tutor Jian Guo of Butterfly Base for their help and effort. They designed an engaging insect class and the children had a delightful day exploring.
