Last month our new pod opened and we welcomed new students at Sunshine Home, along with some of our younger students moving up from Cheetahs. We are welcoming new students on an almost daily basis with the second classroom opening this week. 

Having been a substitute teacher for the past 5 months, it is really nice to settle into this new classroom. I had previously taught the Cheetahs so it has been lovely to watch them move up and settle into their new surroundings. 

For most of the new students, the transition has been easy.  They have quickly become comfortable in their new classroom within a few days. It really is a pleasure to observe this and to see the students making new friends. We aim to make them feel as comfortable and happy as possible. I feel lucky to be their teacher and look forward to our learning together as well as seeing the children’s personalities develop over time.
