The key to creating

The key to creating a Montessori home is to make an environment that is geared toward a child’s physical and mental capabilities.

That means that furniture should be sized for children. This includes low shelves for books and toys, as opposed to a toy box or bag. Hooks on the wall for the child to hang their jacket gives them a place of their own and keeps the area organized. Drawers should be low enough to reach.

Consider a reading corner to make the room interesting and to give your child a place of his or her own.
