Reopening Preparations

This document explains how the school will prepare to reopen and to combat covid-19.

 

The staff is closely following events as well as the instructions of all relevant authorities. 

 

The advance team is conducting safety monitoring and oversight as the school carries out a range of programs to prevent outbreaks and control health and safety in order to create an environment in which parents and teachers are at ease.

 

Lead group for Safety Monitoring and Control

Each kindergarten has a management team in place to serve as the leading group for prevention and control management. 

 

Directed by the organizational head, the lead group includes the principal of each site. 

 

The relevant heads of each department serve as deputy group leaders responsible for the organizational leadership and supervision of each school’s prevention and control work. 

 

The lead group specifies job assignments, position responsibilities and each section of work is allocated to each person.

Four-Level Contact Network For Prevention And Control

Each schools has a management team that including the principal and course consultants. The team works closely with parents to collect and report all relevant information expeditiously.

Coordination With Medical Disease Control Authorities

Make clear the contact information of local health departments, disease control institutions and nearby medical institutions, and carry out joint prevention and control.

Optimized Health Care System and Processes

Health care is the top priority during the period of epidemic prevention and control, which needs to attract the attention of each staff. The school has instituted the following systems to ensure safety when schools reopen. 

Before Entering Campus

The school monitors and records the health status of staff and students to ensure that they are healthy and have not come into contact with person from epidemic areas before entering the kindergarten.

 

Staff and students who have stayed in or transited through epidemic areas must be examined by the health department and observed for a period of time in accordance with relevant local health regulations. The relevant staff and students will only be admitted to enter after a 14-day quarantine period in which no symptoms develop.

 

Each school will train all staff in advance on a series of epidemic prevention and safety measures (hygiene, disinfection, etc.)

 

 

 

Special personnel are designated as responsible for the inspection of disinfection equipment and the procurement of epidemic prevention materials and sanitary disinfection supplies to ensure that sufficient materials for epidemic prevention are available when the school opens.

 

 
 

 

Before a facility opens, the staff ventilates and disinfects the classrooms, public areas and kitchens, making sure to cover all areas of campus.

 

Professional personnel are hired to disinfect each site, conduct pest control and eliminate any repositories of mosquitoes both inside and outside the kindergarten.

 

When Entering Campus

All staff must submit to a temperature check and health check for other symptoms entering the kindergarten.

 

The morning check site is located outside the gate of the kindergarten for checking the oral cavity and body temperature of arriving children. Students selected for secondary screening are comforted by their legal guardian(s) and taken directly to the relevant authorities for a comprehensive examination. 

 

Security guard strictly implement the access control system. After the children pass the health check, the consultant and the teacher on duty lead the children to their classrooms.

 

Inspection staff must wear face masks and disposable gloves and must have access to forehead thermometers and flashlights. Masks and gloves must be changed daily and must be replaced immediately upon contact with a subject who may be ill.

During Class

After a child enters a classroom, the teacher focus on the instruction of proper hand-washing, especially for younger children.

 

 

 

Every morning, the staff records the reasons for all absences and reports them to the relevant authorities.

 

Teachers pay close attention to the disposition of all child throughout the day. Any abnormalities or developing systems are reported immediately to the principal and school nurse for further action.

 

After the daily nap, the staff measures and records the body temperature of each child and all staff members. Forehead thermometer must be disinfected each time.

 

The principal inspects and supervises the work status of each class.

 

The school nurse inspects the health condition of teachers and students in each class in the morning and afternoon. Any suspected symptoms are addressed immediately.

 

 After Class

Teachers in each class observe the disposition of all student and report any abnormalities immediately.

 

The drop-off system is strictly implemented. Legal guardians must wait outside the school gate to pick up children.

 At The End of Each Day

All teachers accurately report the situation of the kindergarten on that day.

 

The teacher disinfects all class items according to the requirements of the sanitation disinfection system and exposes all items to ultraviolet light daily.
