Our tour of the Body comes to its second stop. We will make delicate and lovely cotton dolls with our children, and make a UFO that spins in the water!

Soft cotton can be used to create many different interesting crafts. In this workshop, we will use cotton to make the doll’s body. Then we will add ribbon, twine and paper rolls to make a lovely miniature doll!

Class Time: 10:00 am on Saturday, November 10th

Draw a UFO on paper, cut the paper, put it in the water, and drop a drop of mysterious liquid. Watch as the UFO lifts off all by itself! Is it a real alien aircraft? Let's find out together.

Jerry graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he studied painting, performance and art education. He has an Illinois teaching certificate and is a curricular expert. He enjoys teaching classrooms with students of differentiated ages and skills. He loves to make English come alive through the use of the arts!
