On October 31st, 2019, Seaside Sunshine Home Kindergarten ushered in our annual Halloween activities!

At this event, we invited parents to come to school with their children to attend the event. We played games, ate snacks, made Halloween handicrafts, and spent an educational and fun Halloween together.

 

Around 8:30 in the morning, the teachers dressed up as characters from different stories and happily took pictures together.

The event officially began at 9: 00 in the morning, when parents and children came to the school lawn in their carefully selected – or handmade – costumes to take photos.

For some children, it was their first time partaking in such activities for the first time and the excitement was written on their faces.

After taking group photos, the children went back to their classrooms and listened to the teacher explain the process of the day’s activities and the rules of the selected games. The children also picked up pumpkin lanterns and cards.

At 09:40 a.m., parents accompanied their children to take part in three activities in their group, which were divided into food, handicrafts and games.

This year's food was spider cookies—children used their imagination and creativity to make all kinds of spider cookies.

The handicraft was a Halloween ghost puppet, which exercised the children’s fine motor skills and creative abilities.

The game was a witch hat ring toss, the hats for which were personally made by the teachers. This game exercised the students’ balancing abilities and enhanced their sense of space and distance.

At 11:00 in the morning, parents took their children to the stores near the school to ask for candies. Children have to say "Trick or Treat" to get these candies.
