From October 1 to 7, every morning at 10 o 'clock, the Sunshine Home Children’s Workshop will bring you seven days of different courses, ranging from making handwork, science experiments and interesting picture books.

Children like to play with sand. With its varied forms and different ways to play, sand can meet children’s special needs for developing their creativity. 

Lead by our teachers, the hands of your little sand artist will transform a common handful of sand into unique work of art – Sand Art!

Inflating a Balloon with a Bottle

Every child loves a colorful balloon, so this time we’re going to conduct an interesting scientific experiment using balloons!

What’s the best way to inflate a balloon? With a pump? With our mouth and lungs?

Teacher Sunita will teach the children a fascinating and new way, without using a pump or our mouths. Children will learn to inflate a balloon in mere seconds using only a bottle!

Class Time: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2nd

Papa, please get the moon for me 

Monica looked at the moon outside her window before going to bed. It was big and beautiful. She wanted to play with the moon. 

She stretched out her hand to reach the moon, but she couldn't touch it, so she asked her father, "Can you take the moon from the sky and give it to me?" 

So her father began to pick the moon for her step by step. What did he bring his daughter? Where did he go? Did he succeed in bringing her the moon?

Ebru is an ancient painting skill from Turkey. The paint that drops gently into water will dizzy with wave and gradually open. 

Wait until the water picture is finished, then cover it with materials like paper, stone, cloth bag, finally the material is transferred onto the materials. 

Each painting is unique and unrepeatable. Come and experience this amazing art!

Sunita is a Montessori teacher from India. She has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master's degree in English as well as a TEFL Certificate. She has a Montessori diploma for teaching in both CASA and Elementary classrooms. Sunita has more than a decade of teaching experience in India, Singapore and Nepal.
