This year Seaside Sunshine Home Kindergarten celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival on September 12. Our fun and educational activities included talks, stories, and songs related to this wonderful festival.
Teachers carefully prepared in order to help introduce children to the origins and customs of the festival, with the aims of having fun and developing a deeper understanding thereof.
The children learned a lot and greatly enjoy themselves as they dove into the games and lessons of the festival’s special traditions.！
Things got really fun when we brought out the bowl and dice to play Mooncake Gambling—a traditional Mid-Autumn dice game unique to this region.
The festival’s buoyant atmosphere became all the more lively with the sound of children’s laughter.
In the end, they not only took home small gifts as winnings from Mooncake Gambling, but also a deeper appreciation of Mid-Autumn Festival.
In a pleasant atmosphere, we ended this year’s festivities.
