Mother's day
The second Sunday in May is Mother's Day, it is an occasion to show our gratitude to our mothers. Children, have you prepared surprises for your mothers?
If not, come and learn from our teachers how to make a flower basket for your mother. You just need to use colored paper, scissors and glue to make exquisite flowers through the use of hands and color application. It also gives full play to fine movement ability, concentration and aesthetic ability.
May 18th | Fruit and Vegetable Painting
Many fruits and vegetables go bad easily in the summer, it is a pity to throw them away. You could remove their bad parts and leave the rest for the children to use.
You can create your own works with okra, carrots, corn, celery and so on! Through this series of production, children can not only develop creativity, imagination and manual ability, but also learn that the waste can be turned into useful materials.

Popsicle Sticks
Photo Frame
Save your popsicle sticks after eating ice cream, and watch how we turn them into beautiful photo frames. We will use popsicle sticks, glue, colored paper and other materials so that children can make their own special photo frames.
In this process, the children give full play to their imagination and aesthetic judgment.

May 12th | The Revival of a Caterpillar
How can we turn the paper from straws into a moving caterpillar? Let's uncover the secret with our foreign teachers! This time we will use the unique characteristics of water and paper to make the peristaltic caterpillar.
May 19th | Controlled Ping-pong ball
In addition to grasping the Ping-Pong ball, how can it also be firmly controlled? Watch as the Ping-Pong is sucked up and controlled with water! In this experiment, the teacher will lead the children in understanding the principal of atmospheric pressure.
May 26th | The Trapped Ice Cube
Ice is a slippery but fun material to play with, especially in the summer. In this class, we use the power of density to trap the ice! Our teacher will lead the children in understanding the interesting material property of density.
Class Time: 4 pm on Sundays
Sunshine Home Books & Toys has set up an English corner for children! Teachers from English-speaking countries will be present at our store at 4:00 p.m. every Sunday, to interact and communicate with children in English, with the aim to help our children work on their English. It will create more opportunities to speak English and improve their oral skills.
Admission Requirements: Children aged 4-6, with basic English skill
The second Sunday in May (May 12) is Mother’s Day. We will hold a special activity for kids to learn about Mother’s Day, and the importance of caring for and thanking their mothers!
