This year’s Winter Camp was a great adventure for children and teachers alike. Together we embarked on an exciting exploration of the English language and the world around us.
这次冬令营最激动人心的主题就是世界各地的儿童。
The most exciting theme of the camp was Children Around the World.
老师带领孩子们了解地球上七大洲的表达，带领小朋友们遨游在世界文化的海洋。
Our teacher led the kids on a learning adventure to discover the seven continents and some of the many cultures they contain.
每天上课，老师带领小朋友们角色扮演世界各地的儿童们，通过简单的对话来了解每个洲所特有的有食物，动物。
Each day the teacher helped the children experience different cultures through role-play and simple English conversations. Not only did they learn about the people from around the world, but also different foods and animals.
比如大熊猫是来自亚洲的中国，比如袋鼠是来自澳洲。比如美国人喜欢吃汉堡包，日本人喜欢吃寿司。
For example, we learned that Koala’s live in Australia and Panda’s live in China, and that Americans like hamburgers and Japanese people like sushi.
围圈时间，孩子们在轻松中学到英语知识。孩子们通过好玩的投篮游戏来记住和了解这些文化单词，也了解了颜色、数字、情绪、字母表等等其他相关基础知识。
We always incorporated as much English into Circle Time as possible, especially while teaching the unit vocabulary and reviewing the basics. They learned the words by playing lots of fun games lots of fun games like Vocab Basketball, where they got to shoot for each word they got right. We also practiced colors, numbers, emotions, the ABCs, and many other things.
在这次的冬令营中，很多小朋友都是第一次接触全英文环境的学习，他们都是非常棒的观察家和学习者，很快的适应这样的环境，并且快速的加入这样的集体环境。也有一些小朋友在这次的冬令营经历中重新拾起对英语学习的热情。
During the Winter Camp, many of the children were learning English for the first time. They were the best observers and learners. They quickly adapted to the English environment and quickly joined in on the fun. Thanks to this fun camp they have surely developed an enthusiasm for learning English.
今年的冬令营真是精彩纷呈、乐趣无穷啊！孩子们都玩得很开心，也学到了很多。让我们一起期待接下来的夏令营美妙之旅吧！
This year’s Winter Camp was amazing. We had so much fun and learned so much together. We look forward to another wonderful experience at our next Camp!
