Merry Christmas from everyone here at Sunshine Home! Christmas is a very special holiday all over the world with lots of fun and warm traditions. We were so excited to teach our children all about Christmas and the great lessons it has to teach!
Every classroom was well prepared for inspiring lots of Christmas spirit! Teachers decorated their classrooms carefully and beautifully, filling the walls with Santa Claus and reindeer. Each class even had its very own Christmas tree!
The most important lesson of Christmas is the joy of sharing. Gift giving, an essential part of the holiday, was a perfect way to have children come to understand that giving can be even better than receiving! So in every class we organized a Secret Santa gift exchange.
On December 25, Christmas Day, we had all had an amazing celebration. We played games and sang Christmas carols, made crafts, and exchanged the gifts that every child had chosen and wrapped so thoughtfully. We learned so much about the meaning of Christmas, like the importance of sharing and being grateful, while also having tons of fun!
