On March 24, Ruijing Sunshine Home celebrated the spring season with an outing to the Xiamen Science and Technology Museum. All of the teachers, parents, and children arrived at the science museum in the morning. They were arranged into groups by class.The visit began by going to the world’s largest water clock! A guide led the students, parents, and teachers, showing them how the ancient Xiamen people used water counting time in a smart and efficient way.
Following this, they went to the "Car Park,” where the children were able to experience the pain and pleasure of being traffic controllers. They played traffic cop with each other and explored the mysteries of traffic lights. They also learned about traffic signs.
Next, children learned about the stomach and intestine. They learned how one’s body develops through the "Human Health Theme Park." This helped children understand the importance of a healthy diet.
The last two events, which were favorites of the children, were the Exploratorium and a performance stage of small animals in the insect forest.
Children not only gained a lot of knowledge about science, but also enjoyed this group trip.Kids, when you grow up, the next scientist might be you!
