【周末家庭主题活动】交通运输工具

亲爱的家长：

接下来的主题是《交通运输工具》，我们诚挚地邀请您跟孩子一起参与学习与主题相关的家庭活动。如往常一样，我们会和孩子们一起学习有趣的主题内容，我们将与孩子们一同学习有关交通工具的常识。

这里有些简单的活动您可以跟孩子在家里一起做。您可以帮助孩子了解常见交通工具的外形，种类，用途等，了解各种交通工具的名称及发展情况，培养孩子对现代交通工具的兴趣。您可以问孩子们他们最喜欢的交通工具种类是哪些，比如：地铁，直升飞机，公交车，航天飞机等。然后您可以和孩子一起用画的，拍照的，写的，来表达出他们出行时喜欢的交通工具的方式。

您也可以和孩子一起玩角色扮演来体验不同类型的交通运输工具。轮流扮演各种交通工具的司机或乘客的角色。试着练习动词“take”与车辆名称做配对。

教您的孩子交通规则。通过识别不同的路标来做游戏，您可以走遍整个城市作为一次旅行，然后轮流提问对方这些路标的含义。

Dear parents,
Our next academic theme is Transportation. We’d love to invite you as parents and partners to participate in an at-home activity related to the theme. As usual, we focus on pleasant projects and learning together with your child. During this theme we will work with our students to learn about common modes of transportation.

There are very simple activities you can do at home to enhance your child’s understanding of shape, type, and use of transportation. Tell your child about the development of various vehicles to spark their interest in modern transportation. Then, ask them about their favorite kind of transport such as subway, helicopter, bus, space shuttle, etc. After this, you and your child can paint, photograph, or write about their favorite way to get around.

You can also role play to get a feel of different types of transportation. Take turns playing the roles of the driver or passenger of various transports. Try to practice pairing the verb ‘take’ with the name of the vehicle.

Teach your child about traffic rules. Play a game by identifying different road signs as you travel throughout the city. Take turns quizzing each other about their meanings.
Please remember that this is an optional activity and it is not homework. Every child will always be fully involved in our classrooms, whether or not they have done these activities at home. Thank you!
