My name is Jesse. I’m three years old. When I was very, very young, I spent most of the time with my mother. My mother would accompany me to play, read books and teach me knowledge and how to sing. But as I grew older, I preferred to hang out with other children and had fun playing games with them.
I also wanted to learn more about the outside world, different faces, different voices, different stories, and different knowledge. I was eager to get in touch with the outside world.
In 2018, my mom took me to visit Sunshine Home Books & Toys. There were so many toys different from what I had at home. I enjoyed myself there.
Moreover, by working with these toys, I also got to understand and learn a lot of life knowledge. I learned how to brush my teeth, sort toys and make cookies. I also learned how to recognize different sizes, shapes, and colors. I met so many aunts and uncles.
I especially liked Teacher Summer and Teacher Sunita. I loved their smiles and voices. The kind of feeling they give me is different from what my mother gives me. I enjoy and love everything new and different.
More than half a year later I entered into Sunshine Home. There are so many children having fun with me. We sing, dance, draw and make handicrafts together.
And there are so many teachers! Teacher Lucy, Teacher Miya, Teacher Irina, and Teacher Summer are here, too. Teacher Summer comes to see me every day.
There are also two foreign teachers. They all like me very much and of course I like them very much.
My teachers share the work and cooperate with one another, some teaching me knowledge, some taking care of me and some telling me stories and teaching me how to sing and dance.
I keep thinking about them all the time. Everything they taught me is deeply engraved in my mind. How wonderful it is!
I love Sunshine Home and everything here. I hope I can grow up here happily and bring happiness to my classmates and teachers. Please fill my life with cheerful laughter and bright sunshine.
